Jacksonville, Florida – Retina-X Studios announces the launch of PhoneSheriff 2.0, a mobile parental control and filtering software compatible with iPhone. The software allows parents to monitor and block anything their child does on their smartphone. PhoneSheriff now includes real time GPS tracking on a map in an entirely new interface. According to the Pew Research Center, 75 percent of all teens ages 12-17 now have a mobile phone. They report that half of all teens send at least 50 text messages daily, and one in every three send at least 100 text messages each day. * Placing time restrictions, such as when calls are and are not allowed, or times that the phone cannot be used at all
* Monitoring of all content that is accessed with the mobile phone. Whether someone is going online, sending a text message, or taking a picture, everything is recorded so that registered users can access the detailed info at their convenience
* Providing instant GPS location and device lock capabilities, as well as alert message notification if the SIM card has been changed
New features that PhoneSheriff 2.0 offers include real time tracking, where users can view their child or employee’s locations on a map as they are happening. There is now also a custom profanity alert option, and Geofencing feature, which allows parents, or employers, to receive notification when the person has left a specific geographic area.
“Most parents want their teen to have a phone if only for having the ability to reach them at all times,” adds Thompson. “But there are so many issues that can come up it just makes sense to use a monitoring software. It puts to rest all the questions and finger crossing that they are doing the right thing with their phone.”
PhoneSheriff 2.0 is compatible with Android, iPhone, and Blackberry. Working in stealth mode, the person is not aware that the software is in use. Even when they believe they have deleted all their history on the phone, PhoneSheriff 2.0 compiles the information so that the registered user can log in and view it at any time, from anywhere.
