Austin, Texas – pixntell 1.1.2 is a free app that allows users to create personalized photo sharing slideshows using their own photos, voice and text. pixntell is for anyone looking for a quick platform to make digital storybooks or videos on their iPhone or iPad.
What differentiates pixntell from other photo sharing applications is its user friendly interface. Following prompts, users can create compelling stories in under a minute. You can choose from your photo library or take photos as you go. Once the photos are loaded, you can drag and drop your pictures in the order you want. The audio function allows you to record at your own pace, swiping through your photos as you speak. An in-app upgrade even allows you to add text with custom fonts and backgrounds. Once you are finished, you can immediately share your pixntell to Facebook, youtube, or by email.
pixntell can be used by anyone. Teachers can use pixntell to reinforce reading and language skills by letting students narrate their own digital book. pixntell is available on iTunes and is translated into 14 different languages, facilitating its use worldwide. The basic version is free, and allows you to load 5 pictures per slideshow. The full version lets you use an unlimited number of photos in a slideshow and is a .99 cent upgrade. pixntell Pro, the text upgrade, is also .99 cents. pixntell has already submitted an upgrade to link your pixntell to Dropbox and to create HD pixntells. The Android version is in development for launch in early February 2013.
